In early 2016, Microwave recorded their sophomore album, Much Love, at The Looking Glass (a recording studio built in the basement of a much-too-large suburban home in the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia) with producer and engineer, Travis Hill (a.k.a me, the person writing this description). Microwave was fresh off of the success of their debut album, Stovall, and while I can’t tell you the details of every signal chain, I can tell you that were all extremely motivated to make the best record possible. Much Love was the epitome of a passion project and went on to be celebrated by both by fans and critics alike.
