How to Become a Vendor
Are you a music producer, sound designer, or audio creator with high-quality digital assets to share? You have come to the right place. Tone Catcher is a platform specifically for selling audio-related digital products — from drum kits and sound effects to plugin presets and amp modeler profiles.
Your vendor account will give you a streamlined dashboard to manage your storefront, products, and earnings — all in one place.
A few things to know:
- ToneCatcher takes a 10% commission on each sale, along with a $0.60 transaction fee.
- Sales tax is calculated based on the location of the customer. Tone Catcher will handle the collection and payment of these taxes on behalf of vendors.
Step 1: Sign Up as a Vendor
Head to our Vendor Registration Page and create your account. You’ll just need:
- A valid email address
- A store name
- A secure password
Once you register, check your inbox to confirm your email and activate your vendor account.
Step 2: Set Up Your Store
After logging in, you’ll get access to your Vendor Dashboard, where you can:
- Upload a store logo and cover image
- Add a short bio and store description
- Link your PayPal for payouts
- Set terms for licensing, returns, or support
Step 3: Upload Your Audio Products
Click “Add New Product” to start listing your digital assets. You can upload WAVs, sample packs, plugin presets, or other downloadable formats, set pricing, and include detailed descriptions and demos if needed.
You also have the option to add a “Shared Partner,” allowing two vendors to co-sell the same product.
For example, maybe you’re an engineer who’s teamed up with your favorite drummer to create a sample pack — this feature makes that kind of collaboration easy.
When adding a product, simply enter your partner’s email address and assign their revenue percentage. Once the product is created, the shared vendor will receive an email invitation to accept the partnership.
After your partner approves, the product will be submitted for final review by the ToneCatcher team.
Step 4: Start Earning
Once your product is published, it’s live on the marketplace for ToneCatcher users to discover and purchase. You’ll be notified of every sale, and all orders and payouts are managed through your dashboard.
